And indeed, in my book THE ON-DEMAND BRAND, I talk about the importance of emphasizing what I call the P.O.S.itive - making experiences Personalizable, Ownable, and Shareable.

The effort here was not a sanctioned initiative. It is just a particularly side-splitting example of how superfans working their magic - a notion that brands find both horrifying and promotional gold.

After all, you aren't anybody until you're getting spoofed in viral videos - or a SNL skit.

    Even if you're not a GoT fan, you should watch this just for the comedy, and then watch the outtakes for what the creator didn't think was good enough to make it in.

    Many marketers, brand owners, companies wish they could get HALF of the hits this video alone got (over 3 million in less than 3 days and counting) need a good sense of humor, ability to write, and excellent timing to come up with something like this...and a brand that doesn't mind being thought of as silly or irreverant.
