The opening reception at the iMedia Breakthrough Summit was held in an open barn at the Hyatt Lost Pines resort just outside of Austin, Texas.
Howdy!
The hotel resembles a sprawling plantation complete with ancient oak trees and wrap-around porches accented with decorative columns. The architecture conjures images of southern belles, gentlemen on horseback, boots with spurs, and farm animals.
Isn't this precisely what you think of when you think of Texas?
The bartenders (compliments of Mojiva) busily mixed cocktails for guests.

I took it upon myself to indoctrinate (sort of) newbie associate editor Kyle Montero. As you can see, my services weren't needed. Kyle is an absolute pro. And judging by this photo, he might also be a vampire.
Watch out folks, there's a new sheriff in town.
